Ginger Bass Memorial Fund
In 2008 we established the Ginger Bass Memorial Fund to honor the memory of Ginger Bass, a beloved friend, mother, esteemed Real Estate agent in East County and a domestic violence homicide victim. Donations made in Ginger’s honor will be used to underwrite stipends for victims of all crime throughout San Diego County.
Kim Barrett Memorial Fund
In 2010, we established the Kim Barrett Memorial Fund to honor the memory of Kim Barrett, a long time “Friend of The Fund,” a dedicated local social worker, and champion of victims rights. She worked tirelessly with victims across San Diego for over a decade. Her energy, expertise and infectious smile changed lives. She was an amazing volunteer, social worker, mother and friend. In her memory we will work as she did; compassionately, professionally and joyfully. Donations made in Kim’s honor will be directly given to domestic violence and child abuse victims in San Diego.

I was so stressed from the crime and worried that I couldn’t pay my bills because I couldn’t work. In one day Crime Victims Fund paid for my exam and I had new eyeglasses and went to work. Thank you for helping a terrible situation better.”
