What you appreciate the most about the work of the CVF:
“I appreciate most the ease with which victims are able to be helped by Crime Victims Fund. I think what CVF does is invaluable and makes a world of difference to victims.”

Why is the CVF important to the San Diego Community:
“CVF offers immediate assistance to victims who may otherwise have no resources and are unable to access assistance. I have seen firsthand how the aid offered by CVF prevents victims from becoming homeless, hungry and start their journey toward recovery with support and kindness with no strings attached.”

Most memorable CVF moment:
“I’ve been lucky enough to have seen literally thousands of victims’ lives transformed and vividly remember their stories. I remember a victim who was car jacked in her own driveway and run over with her own car resulting in a coma. She had two small children and while in the hospital CVF helped pay her mortgage allowing the family to focus on recovery rather than fighting foreclosure”

Wish for CVF:
“My wish is for people to learn more about the amazing assistance The Crime Victims Fund offers victims of crime in San Diego. Our community is truly lucky to have this unique resource for victims and their families. I hope more and more people are moved to get involved, volunteer, donate, come to our fun events and become a ‘Friend of The Fund!’”
