Meredith Rae Levin
President, CVF Board of Directors
Attorney - Certified Specialist, Family Law
Allen-Slattery, Inc.

Since 2003 Meredith has dedicated her time and talents to The Crime Victims Fund (CVF) in many capacities. As a former Domestic Violence Residential Program Director, Meredith participated on CVF's Program Steering Committee. When she left her Residential Program Director position to practice law, she never forgot about the good works of CVF. Meredith recalls, “I attended a CVF fundraising event and knew I wanted to remain a part of an organization that I truly believe in. I have been so fortunate to have the opportunity to be involved with such a great organization.”

Proudest accomplishment with the CVF:
“I am proud that we have been able to continue to serve our community and, despite the ebbs and flows of funding resources, we continue to serve those in need day after day.”

Most memorable CVF moment:
“We helped relocate a family after a violent crime occurred at their residence. We received a thank you letter from the family describing how much safer they felt and that the children finally felt safe enough to play outside. We were able to provide the feeling of safety and security for a family in need. It doesn’t get much better than that.”

Future wish:
“We will continue to grow as an agency, in terms of our funding and our recognition in the community, allowing us to continue to help the many victims of crime that are in need of our unique assistance.”
